How to Flip: Building Online Tutorials for Your Language Classroom, February 26th and 27th 2013

This coming week is the third FLTP workshop of the semester, "How to Flip? Building Online Tutorials for Your Language Classroom", which will be lead by Edwige Simon. In this workshop, we will introduce the concept of the "flipped classroom" and then demo three tools that you can use to create online tutorials for your students.

Attendees will create a VoiceThread tutorial and a Google Presentation for grammar instruction as well as a Prezi tutorial for cultural instruction.

Next week is the second workshop of the semester for ALTEC's Foreign Language Technology Program.

Productivity Tools for Teaching and Research
Lead by ALTEC's Director, Mark Knowles

In this workshop, Mark will examine a number of programs that can improve the way we work and share files as well as manipulate/annotate PDFs. Although we will be looking at a few cloud/internet-based programs, an emphasis will be placed on programs for your iPad.
