Technology Sampler, November 27th and 28th 2012

November 27th and 28th, the Tuesday and Wednesday after Thanksgiving break, is the last workshop of the fall semester for ALTEC's Foreign Language Technology Program. The workshop is our Technology Sampler in which we will explore 8 free, easy-to-use, web-based programs to improve how you teach, create, embellish, streamline, and capture online.

Technologies to be discussed include: Screenr, Online Image Editor, TinyUrl, TubeChop, KeepVid, Doodle.ly, Vocaroo, and Quizlet.

Online Speech Tools, November 13th and 14th 2012

November 13th and 14th is the next workshop for ALTEC's Foreign Language Technology Program. This is a new workshop and I am very excited about this offering!

In this workshop, we will explore a variety of free and easy-to-use online tools for speech recording for you and your language students. We will assess the pros and cons of each of the recording tools and then brainstorm unique projects for each tool based on its features.
