The portfolio intensive is designed to help CU language faculty, instructors and TAs/GPTIs as they complete the last steps of their FLTP teaching with technology portfolio. To view past FLTP portfolios, visit http://altec.colorado.edu/fltp/portfolio_showcase.shtml
Here is a glimpse of what we will be covering on both days.

Saturday, April 6th (8:30 to 3:30)
8:30 to 9:00am: Breakfast and introductions
9:00am to 11:00am: Teaching philosophy workshop with Anne Becher (Spanish department)
11:00am to 12:00pm: Introduction to Portfolio Design (we'll look at examples, discuss content & purpose
Lunch break (30 min)
12:30pm to 1:00pm: Paper prototype (you will outline the structure of your portfolio on paper and receive feedback on the organizing scheme)
1:00pm to 2:30pm: WordPress workshop (you will create your site, the pages and subpages and get to know the program)
2:30pm to 3:30pm: Participants continue building their portfolio & Photoshoot (optional/if the weather allows it).
Those who are interested will be offered the opportunity to have their picture taken (to include in their portfolio). (Note: wear a professional top if you plan to have your photo taken)
Saturday, April 13th (8:30 to 3:30)

8:30am to 9:30am: Presenting content (how to present a lesson plan or an activity in your portfolio using text, images, video and annotated screenshots)
9:30am to 11:00am: Participants continue building their portfolio
11:00am to 12:00pm: Resume workshop with Annie Piatt from Career Services
Lunch break (30 min)
12:30pm to 2:30pm: Participants continue building their portfolio & Photoshoot retakes
2:30pm to 3:30pm: Participants will exchange constructive criticism of each other's portfolio

To Bring:
- Your personal computer that has all of your class material on it (lessons etc)
- A CV or Resume (this does not need to be updated)
- A teacher's statement/philosophy (if you have one)
- Lunch or plan to pick something up on the hill
