Special Topics in Desire2Learn: Attendees' Choice! September 18th and 19th

Join us Wednesday, September 18th from 10-12pm OR Thursday, September 19th from 3-5pm to improve how you use Desire2Learn, CU's learning management system.

In this workshop, we will be working on our Desire2Learn courses, but the attendees will decide the content we cover. Viktoriya Oliynyk, Academic Technology Consultant from the Office of Information Technology and Judy McDonald, hybrid-lecturer extraordinaire from CU's Italian program will be here to assist. Come learn how to tweak D2L to serve the needs of your language students! A few possible topics include:

  • uploading/organizing Content
  • setting up your D2L gradebook
  • customizing your D2L course homepage
  • adding the VoiceThread Course View to D2L
  • using the Discussions tool
  • embedding YouTube videos 
  • adding full-length films to your course via Kaltura 

Please come with either a D2L course (in which you are an instructor) or your D2L sandbox ready to go!
